How do East-West Leadership Workshops work?

Progressing through the three stages of AWARENESS, SKILLS and HABITS, East-West Leadership workshops help management, Human Resources or Learning & Development specialists and workshop participants work together towards the same skills development goals.

AWARENESS - We arrange an Orientation meeting with the client's executives, HR or L&D team, survey participant expectations and if agreed, create behavioural assessment profiles for each participant. Awareness-building continues at the beginning of the workshop in the form of reflection and goal-setting activities.

SKILLS - The workshop introduces intercultural leadership tools and applications selected according to Orientation and survey results. Skills may include cross-cultural communication, teamwork, delegation, motivation, feedback and conflict management. Custom programmes may include strategic planning, time management, stakeholder engagement, innovation and other areas.

HABITS - The last stage of each workshop builds productive new routines through intensive case study discussions and realistic roleplays. Participants practice skills they need the most after the workshop: consensus through challenging discussions, exchanging feedback and creating feasible action plans for individuals and the team.

We always customise, but here are sample topics included in 1 and 2-day workshops (click to expand):
